This recipe uses Bravado Spice Pineapple & Habanero Hot Sauce.
- 2 c All-purpose flour
- 7 tbsp Melted Butter, divided
- 1.5 c Full-fat sour cream
- 3/4 c Diced green onion
- 3 tbsp Bravado Spice Pineapple & Habanero Hot Sauce
- 1.5 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1 /2 tsp Baking Soda
- 3/4 c Shredded cheddar or similarly soft, melty cheese.
Yields 8-9 large biscuits.
1.) Preheat oven to 400° F
2.) Line a cookie/baking sheet with aluminum or parchment paper.
3.) Mix and whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.
4.) Add 6 tbsp melted butter and mix until pea-sized balls form.
5.) Push batter to the sides and add, sour cream, onions, and cheese in the middle.
6.) Fold in the sides with a wooden spoon or spatula until ingredients are just mixed. Do NOT over mix.
7.) Using a spoon, drop biscuits onto baking sheet. Don't worry if they touch each other a bit. You should get 8-9 large biscuits.
8.) Top each biscuit with about a half teaspoon of Bravado Spice Pineapple & Habanero Hot Sauce.
9.) Bake for 12-14 minutes.
10.) Remove from oven, and brush with remaining butter. Serve warm.
