This recipe uses Hoff Hot Sauce
VERY IMPORTANT: While this is a very simple recipe, any time you introduce vinegar into dairy, you risk curdling. In order to avoid curdled cheese dip, make sure you follow these measurements to a T, including using whole milk and thick american cheese.
- 3/4 Cup whole milk
- 24 Slices deli style american cheese (The thicker slices that aren't individually wrapped)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 Cup Hoff Sauce
- 2 Tbls White vinegar
Place milk and cheese slices in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 90 seconds. Take out and stir. Repeat heating for 90 seconds and stirring until it is well mixed and you have a thick dip. Add garlic powder. While stirring, slowly add in the Hoff Sauce and vinegar until it is completely incorporated. Serve as a dip for tortilla chips or drizzle on top of kettle chips (my personal favorite).
Serves 4 to 12 depending on how they roll
