This recipe uses Bravado Spice Crimson Hot Sauce.
- 16 oz Firm Tofu
- 2 oz Peanut or Canola Oil
- 1/4 c Thin sliced onion
- 1/4 c Grated carrots
- 1/4 c Thin sliced cucumber
- 1/4 c Bravado Spice Chili & Garlic Pickles brine
- 1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
- 2 tsp Bravado Spice Crimison Hot Sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Halved croissants
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Cilantro (optional)
1.) Take cucumber slices and soak with carrots in Bravado Spice Chili & Garlic Pickle brine.
2.) Remove tofu from package and dry thoroughly. Slice into approximately 1/2 in slices.
3.) Pan fry the tofu until very lightly browned and drain.
4.) Lightly saute onions, and stir in hoisin, Bravado Spice Crimson Hot Sauce, salt & pepper, and fried tofu.
5.) Crack eggs into a non-stick pan, with about a tablespoon of water, cover and cook for about 45 seconds to baste them.
6.) Serve tofu with onions, pickled vegetables, (optional) cilantro, and egg on the croissant.
7.) Enjoy! Makes two large sandwiches.
